Is this allowed. NEC 2005 300.8 is the closest code I can find that mentions gas lines with cables.

I Have also looked for additional codes;but NEC. 2005AND 2008 IS close but doesnot prohibit this. this sitsuation would cause problem for anyone doing a locate. Gas companys will not run in same ditch.also plactic pipe must have location ribbon 12 inches above pipe. If I find this I would check with utility co.
