Door Opening Question
One of our website visitors sent in this photo.
Is this a code violation ? The door to the garage won’t open all the way, it looks like a pre-hung /altered door unit for a 4 inch wall was used on a 6 inch wall.
If it were me I would make the builder fix it. It certainly wouldn’t meet manufacturer specs. As far as code goes, you could just have a solid wall and no door between the garage and the dwelling space.

IF IT IS A SOLID DOOR, AND HAS A THRESHOLD SEAL AND WEATHERSTRIPPING, I THINK IT MEETS CODE FOR A DOOR TO A GARAGE.

Like the previous comment,if the door is the correct type for the application (garage entry),The door does open beyond 90 degrees and allows the full egress requirements as far as width requirements are concerned. From a building standpoint, just plain poor planning
