Not really, it’s not grounded. In fact, it’s very well protected from land predators, since it’s hard to make the transition from being grounded to touching the power lines without getting electrocuted (at least on steel towers – not so much on this wood pole I would expect. Care to test?)
I have shot of a nest on a steel tower – seems birds like power lines. Too bad power companies don’t.

This is an osprey and they are on the endangered list actually. Here in Canada the nests are protected by the government
